The Slowest Burn ★ by @Typokween
do you know when you read a book that’s just so well written that when you finish it you can’t help but just sit there in silence for a few minutes just thinking about it, and then you reread the last couple pages, and just close the book and kind of stroke the cover in a weird sort of way and just keep thinking because it leaves such a strong impression on you that it just kinda haunts you in the back of your mind for the next few days
or fanfic on my Nook. lol!
“Have you ever read any Twilight fan fiction?” (x)
Currently I’m reading Olympic Rain & Novocain by AddicCakes and I’m really liking it. I also think Finding My Thunder by Counselor is pure genius. Practice to Deceive by Livie79 was really good and well written.
Work in Progress Fics I’m currently reading:
The Slowest Burn by Typokween
He revs his engine hard enough to make it growl irritatingly loud and I know he’s doing it on purpose. He wants attention. So I pull back into the car and roll the window up. I can smell the diesel fuel injection mixed with weed and tobacco. My nose wrinkles up, and when I finally look at him he’s staring right the fuck at me. I try to look away but it’s like I’m paralyzed. I literally can’t remove my eyes from his. He licks his lips and takes a drag from his cigarette, all the while never looking away from me. Then he flicks it outside his car and leans forward outside his window to wink at me before the light turns green and he peels out.
Highly in depth and always creative, TSB has had me in its hooks for sometime now. It’s a classic high school story, but even more with the use of drugs, cheerleading and a very sexy Edward. This story is compelling with more turns and twist then you think. The writing is detailed and when I read it, I feel as if I had just opened a published book. One of my favorites by far and if you haven’t read it yet, you are truly missing out.
Ummm… what kind of warnings? And can I get a link?
where is it?
